1. Manage Multiple Devices
This is a plus version for an integrated tool, incorporating features that enable you to explore more than one printer's settings/status; change printers' settings; download graphics, fonts and firmware; create a printer bitmap font; and send additional commands to printers at the same time.

TSC forges sales alliance with Datalogic
TSC and Datalogic have forged an alliance designed to bolster the sales efforts of both companies in the EMEA region. The agreement was announced Feb. 6.
Datalogic produces barcode readers, mobile computers, sensors, vision systems and laser marking systems, offering innovative solutions tailored for a wide range of auto-ID applications.
The licensing enables TSC to advertise the Alpha-3R and Alpha-4L as Apple-approved MFi devices and display MFi-related logos on their product packaging.

Drivers by Seagull™ Version 7.3.6 Now Available
Seagull Scientific announced today the 8th September 2014, The latest version of Seagull's true Windows printer drivers adds support for more than 65 printers from 17 manufacturers, including Zebra's ZT400 series, SATO's CL4NX, Markem-Imaje's 5200/5400, and a range of Xprinter printers.
This release also includes minor features and fixes. Version 7.3.6 is available from the driver download page on the Seagull Scientific website.

Confusion over TSC 2 Year Warranty 15/5/2014
Just over a year ago, a potential customer requested a quotation on three TSC printers. After negotiating for a week they decided to opt for a cheaper (R35.00) alternative brand printer from an opposition company.
The potential customer brought in two of the xyz brand printers, and insists that we should repair them under the TSC 2 Year warranty. The logic behind this is that the 1 tear warranty on the XYZ brand has expired, so we can repair these based on TSC's 2 year warranty.
I wonder if the fact that they did not even buy these printers from us has ever crossed his mind.

Hermes Logistic Gruppe Deutschland (HLGD), Germany’s largest privately owned letter and parcel delivery service, has selected TSC’s TDP-244 barcode printer for use in 14,000 parcel shops (PaketShops) across Germany.

TSC printers pass Microsoft Windows™ hardware-quality certification testing
TSC printers and Windows drivers have passed Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) testing and are now certified for use with all Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit configurations.
The Windows certification will simplify the installation of TSC printers and their integration with any Windows 7 computer. When a TSC printer is connected to an Internet-enabled computer using a USB cable, Windows drivers will install automatically, eliminating the requirement for installation CDs.
To qualify for WHQL certification, TSC printers and their Windows drivers were subjected to a series of quality and operating system-compatibility tests. The results were then submitted to Microsoft for review and approval. TSC printers and drivers will now carry the "Certified for Windows" logo, signifying that they have passed Windows WHQL certification and are compatible with all Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit

TSC barcode label printers pass GS1 barcode testing and certification
Eleven TSC barcode label printers have passed rigorous Taiwan GS1 two-dimensional barcode tests and have been found to be in compliance with international standards.
The 11 models, supporting Data Matrix, QR code and GS1 Databar barcode types, were tested with 88 different labels and passed 18 ISO IEC 15415 two-dimensional barcode quality tests.
The validation testing, which included light source, print quality and other assessments, was done using advanced measuring instruments and stringent control standards.
Seven TSC label printers earn prestigious Cerner certification
Five of TSC’s direct-thermal desktop printers and two of its thermal-transfer industrial printers have been certified by healthcare-systems giant Cerner Corporation for use by its worldwide customer base, which includes more than 2,700 hospitals and 4,150 physician practices.
